With the blessings of Sriman Narayana!! and the able help/support of Bhaktas, the functioning of the seven Divya Desams of Thirunangur are running smoothly. Daily pujas and other kainkaryams are carried out in a timely and efficient manner and we owe this to bhaktas/charities/Trusts for making this to happen. As a logical next step, we desire to initiate and set up an environment/eco system for bhaktas to visit our holy village “Thirunangur” and their needs of stay, food, darshan are taken care of without a hitch. We hope this may promote these holy “Divya desams”as a major pilgrimage spot. This initiative may also give the necessary up-liftment and can create “Assets” which will provide a regular and sustainable income to the temple kainkaryams and at the same time benefit visiting sevarthis in a better manner.
Fortunately, these seven Divya Desams have assets in the form of lands (not agriculture) but they are hitherto not been used due to various administartive and finacial reasons. It is possible to put to use these vacant barren lands and convert them from Non-Performing assets to performing assets in order to help the temple services and the visting sevarthis.
It is desired to create a non-movable assets for the temple by constructing a temple complex which will have rooms and amenities for the visiting bhaktas , Hall and few residential quarters for the kainkaryadars. It is again emphasised that temple has sufficient “Land Banks” for the construction of the proposed complex and only the cost of construction needs to be addressed.
We feel the best way to move forward in this direction is to approach charitable trusts, philanthropists and bhaktas. We are in receipt of contributions from them time and again and feel confident that the mission of constructing the “temple complex” can be accomplished within a short timeframe.
Acknowledgement by way of naming a block for “major donors” may be considered and we hope this may enthuse Charities/Trusts to contribute liberally for this kainkaryam which will be directly and indirectly uplift the Divyadesams as a whole.
As part of this appeal, a tentative cost estimate is enclosed for consideration.
